Orgatec, the meeting of autumn 2022

“After many postponed and eventually cancelled events, the professional trade fairs are back! At Orgatec, the office furniture fair of Cologne (Germany). Quick selection of what you may be seeing, but far from what it is going to be, from the 25th to the 29th October.”

Little extract in preview of some of typologies of the furniture to be seen: desk, meeting table, seats, visual or acoustic separators, lighting… All to completely rethink the organization of your workspaces. Sobriety seems to be required, using less material, thanks to the evolving components and systems. Modularity should be the new trend already set in Milan last June with Unifor total concept The Principles, designed by OMA. The set of furniture has been planned, singular and open to plenty of uses: to working, waiting, meeting, relaxing, or any combination of functions.

The ergonomic Adaptic chair, designed as an almost therapeutic tool for the sedentary user. The high and low version of Ongo, Wing, in a sporty spirit in high or low version. Motiv by Wiesner Hager, elegant with high back support. Finally the lightest, visually, Tion from Hag (Flokk Group), in search of discretion.

Assmann’s New York individual office has an industrial look, solid on its feet. When the finesse of the Arki-Table set, by Pedrali, returns to celebrate its 10th anniversary. Lightweight, movable partitions persist. Thus Karl Andersson & Soner with Ray delimits the open spaces without closing them. Flat from Artis integrates many options into its panels.
